Mumtaz FC baru saje join their first-ever tournament as a team - dalam tournament yg diorganised oleh Pemuda Gerakan held at Pro Sports, Sri Damansara. Here's the full story.

Our team players for this tourney :

We were grouped in Group A - dgn team Persila FC, Predatorz FC and Kundang (B) FC

1. First Match : againts Persila FC
   Result : Mumtaz FC (1) Persila FC
   Scorer for Mumtaz : Brody

Our first ever match in a tourney - first team includes Faizal as the keeper, Muz as the centreback, Brody and Nazri as wingers and Dale as CentreHalf.
In our very first attack, yours sincerely received the ball from Muz, bawak ke depan, before passing a square ball to the onrushing Brody to smashed the ball home!!! GOaLLLLLL!!
Mumtaz FC 1 Persila 0
First half ended 1-0
But then, in the second half, we were outplayed.
The pressure took its toll on us, and they managed to shoot one goal pass our keeper.
1-1....and it remains like tht until the end.
A rather impressive display by Mumtazians in their first ever official match.

2. Second Match : againts Predatorz FC
    Result : Mumtaz FC (1) Predatorz FC (1)
    Scorer for Mumtaz : Nett

The team - Faizal, Muz, Nett(winger), Dale, Kamal(winger).
Again, mcm the first match, we controlled early on. Dale received a pass. From the centre, pass the ball to Nett kat sebelah kiri, and was shouting for the ball to be pass ke tgh balik. He ignored my plea. Instead unexpectedly do the unexpected - he shoots from the left side of the field....and voila!! GoALLLLLLLLLLLL!!

Sampai la ke half time.
Masa half time, team Mumtaz buat salah tactical strategy (ini yang derang ckp lepas match). Dale was replaced by Nazri (sepatutnye CEO, tapi ntah, tak tau napa dia tak masuk. Katanye sbb taknak break down a winning team la kononnya).

el Capitan yang mcm agak terkejut sbb tetiba dia kene main dlm match ni, and his performance mcm a bit kekok sket. A misunderstanding btwn him and Muz, resulted in the oponent scoring their equaliser. Damn! 1-1. And it remains like tht sampai ke akhir match.
What a total waste!

3. Third Match : againts Kundang (B) FC
    Result : Mumtaz FC (1) Kundang(B) FC (1)
    Scorer for Mumtaz : Nett

OK our last match. A do-or-die battle. Mumtaz FC kene menang this match, kalu tak will be out of the tourney. Skrg ni the position of the teams dlm group A:
Kundang FC (3 points)
Predatorz F (2 points)
Mumtaz FC (2 points)
Persila FC (5 points)

So kena menang la kalu nak ada chance to progress to the next stage.
Our team for this match - Faizal, Muz, Dale, Nett and Brody.

We started a bit slow. The opponent pun main agak kasar. THey played quite rough n dirty gak.
Muz was tackle sampai terduduk.
Nett tercampak sana sini sampai speck tercabut.
Dale was heckled and abused throughout the match.

And thus, the inevitable happened.
Since kitaorg close them down very well, they can't go through to our playing area.
So what did they do?
Shoot from their own half lah!
My fault gak, lambat nak block the shot.
It hit my leg sket, and fooled the keeper.
Right end corner of the post.
Damn!!
Mumtaz 1-0 down at the break.
 
SECOND HALF

Still the same side (we learned our lesson from the prev match)
We haven't given up on getting that all important goal.
First 2-3 mins nothing happen - yang ada cuma lah permainan kasar n taktik kotok team dari Kundang ni.
And suddenly - out of nothing Nett did another unexpected thing.
Upon receiving the ball from Muz, on the left hand side of the field, he sped through the field and landed an acute and crisp shot pass the opponents keeper.
GOallLLLLLLLLL!!
1-1.
Game on.
Another 1 min of the clock.
Desperately trying to get the winning goal that will see us through.
We tried everything, we gave all our last energy.
But in the end, it still ended 1-1.
Ohh what a pity.
We're out of the tournament :(

BUT, a very big BUT.
Many positives could be taken from this tourney....

1. We finished the tourney UNBEATEN, with 3 points, and finished 3rd in that group, ahead of the poor PRedatorz FC and behind Persila FC and Kundang FC.
2. Finally we managed to unearth the talent of Nett to the max, mmg dia on form hari ni.
3. Muz is our new coach-cum-player, dan apa yg dia tunjuk ajar tu really makes us to be a better team.
4. Nazri dan Muz can't play together - sbb cara derang main byk similiarity.
5. Performance dari Faizal sbg keeper really raised some eyebrows. Bagi keeper kita yang sebenar, mayb ini akan jadi pemangkin semangat nak main lagi..heheh.
6. As for me (derang yang ckp) - centre position will be mine for now. I think. Hehe. Takpe
7. Kita dah semakin clear ngan taktik, and should practice using it from now on.

Ok in the end, all ends well.

Mumtaz FC leaves the tourney with heads held high, no shame beneath them.
We showed to the other teams that we can play good futsal, if we have the right direction and tactic.

So, let's hail MUMTAZ FC for the heroic effort - and may this be for greater things ahead!
Oh yeahhh!!

p/s: a small note. this saturday most probably we'll be playing agains St John's Institution batch 96 at Sports Planet Ampang, 10-12pm. Be there aight mate?

Sekarang, Mumtaz FC telahpun mendahului team Shah ni dgn agregate 8-7!

Actually, smlm lawan triangular friendly, satu lagi team dari Tabung Haji.
ALmost all of our matches, we drew with YSON FC and Tabung Haji.
CUma ada satu match kita kalah to Tabung Haji, and the LAST match we won againts YSON FC.

So, this means our GREAT FORM continues......
On to next week, heard that Mr. Robust, Nazri akan organize match ngan team dari bank dia....Ceee-I-Am-Bee.
And heard also they are a bunch of 'veterans'.
So apa lagi? Let our good form continues yeah!

Our team continues the excellent form..

Just before raya, had a friendly again againts you-know-who...the You Sure or Not FC.
Result?

Mumtaz FC 30 You Sure or Not FC 10!!

What a whopping.
We certainly demoralised, trounced, destroyed them! *dengan riaknya aku menulis ayat ini*

Then right after raya, had another game with them.
Altho playing with several unfamiliar faces in our team, but still, we WON.

And to top it off, our head-to-head meetings with them stood at

Whoa....from 4-7 down, now we're even.

On to the future...this Saturday we'll be playing against a team from Tabung Haji.
Arranged by our super-duper-shooter, Wembley.
Heard that they're a good team preparing for a tournament.

BUT we're also a good time, right?

Mumtaz FC is back on form, back on winning ways!

Nampaknya kehadiran bulan Ramadhan ini membawa keberkatan juga kepada team ni.
Minggu lepas, sehari sebelum bermulanye bulan puasa, Mumtaz FC mengganas!

Eh jap..dun misunderstood my words.
Bukan mengganas apa pun.
MumtaZ Fc kembali kepada cara permainan yang sepatutnye ditonjolkan sejak sekian lama.
Begini ceritanya..

Mumtaz FC had a friendly match againts our You Sure or Not FC (ni nama team Shah).
We had been our usual self, tak pakai jersey pun main. As for the opponents, they played with their new-all- black-jersey.

And surprise surprise, we played very briliantly (bukan nak riak ke apa, tak baik riak di bulan Ramadhan ni)

Our passing was inquisite.
Our placement was perfect.
Our movement...marvellous.
Our technical ability, termendous.
Our strength and motivation - unbelievable.
And our goals...superb and excellet!

And the result?
Mumtaz FC 19 You Sure or Not FC 6

We totally outclassed them!
What a proud nite to be a Mumtazian.
What a glorious nite!

Ok fast forward a week later.......
....................................

Mumtaz FC had its annual buka-puasa gathering di TGi Fridays, The Curve.
After a long season, kena la ada event2 mcm ni kan.
THe best part, our CEO were given the biggest applause that nite....hehehe.
*the real story, juz let the guys yang dtg to the buka puasa gath je tau..hahaha.

Pastu, just abt 1 hour later, MumtaZ FC had an 'unofficial' friendly with Ahli Kaji Cuaca FC.
*ni semua kengkawan officemate Azan, tak tau nak letak nama apa lagi...

The match was quite tough, rough and tense.
In the end, we ended victorious, again!
Altho this time, menang tipis je (maybe by one or two goals), but still, we continue our winning ways!

So with this, and for matches coming up in the weeks to come, hope that our run will continues..

Aku tau kenapa senyap je skrg..
Maybe sebab world cup, semua terlalu kusyuk,  sampai terlupa kewujudan blog yang hampeh ini.

Esok ada friendly lagi (kot) ngan Shah kol 5-7 pm kat Sports barn. Tgh tunggu confirmation dari team diorg.

Just a short one ni.

2 or 3 weeks back (tak ingat dah aku) Mumtaz FC ada lawan friendly ngan team Shah.
In the end, we won by 2 or 3 goals margin (hooray!!)

So skrg agregate ngan team Shah:- Mumtaz FC 4 Shah Subang FC 5

Jadi, hari esok (Ahad 25th June) akan ada friendly lagi ngan team Shah kul 5-7pm kat Sports Barn (2 jam tuh!!).
Harapnye team Mumtaz akan victorious lagi - and show them who's d boss!! (yeah!)

Cerita yang berlaku dalam 2 minggu ni.

Mumtaz FC sekarang tgh ON FORM...tgh on a winning streak!

1st Match (last week 20th March)
Lawan team Shah.
Menang by a margin of 10++ kot.
Quite a good match, we played with our hearts out.
Dengan adanye Aji Robben yang baru balik dari dunia pertapaaan dia, mmg tidak dapat dinafikan dari awal lagi, Mumtaz FC akan victorious.

Pass je kat Aji, ada je magic yang dia akan buat.
Turn out, abt half of our goals were scored by him.
Anyway, overall a good team performance.
Agregate 2-5 meeting ngan Shah ni.

Next day plak, ada quadrangular tournament kat RIO, organized by Yeti-Less FC.
Out of 4 teams, we finished 3rd (itu pun sebab goal difference dgn team no. 2)
Tapi tak berapa best sgt main (Bagi aku la) sebabb there is 1 team tu yang main kasar.
Si botak tu (ingat tak?)
Aku telah dibelasah kaki, same goes to Wembley.
Tapi MOD (mmg kena betul nama ni ngan dia) telah membalas bagi pihak kami dengan 'caranya' yang tersendiri. Thanks man!

Overall. another good performance.

And lastly, last Saturday(27th May) another win (this time a great win) againts Shah's team.
And we PROVE tht without Aji, mmg kita bleh main ngan cemerlang gemilang.
We won by a margin of 2 3 goals.
Dalam match ni gak, byk goal2 cantik oleh team kita.
Most outstanding one I can say is from Hamzah.
A long range shot dari luar petak penalti SIDE Mumtaz to the opponents goal.
Glorious goal indeed.
And who could forget our beloved CEO's outside the foot goal.
Magnificent.
Lastly (sorry terpaksa mention gak) my headed goal!
A great pass dari Nett (tak sangka plak dia leh chip mcm CEO), and I just try to head it to the corner of the goal........GOALLlLLL....to a cheers from Mumtaz FC bench.
Yaaahhh...

So with this, our match-to-match agregate statistic with Shah's team read 3-5, after 2 consecutive victories.
Now on to the next matchh....another victory in the cards..yeah?

Guys, tgk tak match FA Cup final last Saturday?

Best gile kan?
To those yang tak tgk, rugi woo yang teramat sangat.
The best FA Cup final in recent memory -> ni ayat-ayat paper semua, bukan ayat aku.

Dalam masa 28 mins, liverpool ketinggalan 2-0.
Time ni lah, aku telah terima SMS dari member2 yang saje nak menyakitkan hati aku.
Contohnya..

dari MOD..aku tak ingat sangat apa dia tulis, tapi dia kutuk liverpool gak la.
dari hairi (member aku). " 2-0, apa cerita ni"

Then 2-1 by 32 mins.

2nd half starts.
About 50++ mins, 2-2.
Time ni aku reply kat hairi semual "2-2 dah, apa cite?" hehe.
Dia reply balik " baru 2-2". Takpe, aku still bersabar.
Riuh gemuruh.

Tetiba secara tak sangka, west ham lead balik 3-2.
Gol nasib, dia nak cross tapi TERmasuk ke gol. Hampeh betul.

Tapi aku STILL confident Liverpool can fight back.
Tick tock tick tock...min2 terakhir.
Ok fine,maybe this is just not our day.
Then boooOOOMM. Goooall by gerrard!
Boleh kene heart attack aku. MMg tak sangka.

Itu lah pengalaman yang sungguh mengasyikkan lagi menggemuruhkan perasaan di suatu Sabtu yang indah.

p/s: Sabtu ni ada friendly 2 jam di Sports Barn 10 pm-12 pm dgn team Shah Subang.

The football league season is almost over now.
Lagi seminggu lagi abis lah Premier League.
Tapi since this is a World Cup year, orang tak kisah sgt.
Tahun ni non-stop football la jawabnya.

Talking abt season yang over, our futsal season ni pun mcm dah panjang.
Since early this year, kita asyik main je, dan selalu ada friendly.
So for me, I was thinking of taking a short, very the very short break je.
Psal tu aku letak kat tagbod mcm tu.

TAPI biasalah si CEO kita tu.
Mana leh tahan sket ngan jari jemari dia tu, ada je benda dia nak ckp.
Tisu lah, tembak lah, itu lah ini lah.
Apa daa punye CEO.
Rasanye apa dia ckp, dia lah yang buat gak kot.
Hahah.

OK dah cukup pasal CEO, karang terlebih glamour plak dia, kembang lagi perut dia tu yang sememangnya dah kembang tu.

Macam mana ngan session futsal kita? Surely ada clash gak during that month.
Kene ada backup plan, mayb we can play Saturday petang or Ahad ptg ke, sbb time memalam sure ada game best2,tul tak?
And mayb during weekend nite tu, kita change our session jadi session tgk bola ramai-ramai kat HQ kita tu?
