What happened, Mumtazians?

Soalan yang aku letak kat atas tu, aku tujukan kat semua ahli-ahli Mumtaz FC.
Jawablah sejujur-jujurnya.
Apa sudah jadi dgn team kita?

As most of us (yang attend the friendly last Saturday knew), we had our WORST, most dissapointing, humilating and excruciating matches that we've EVER played.
Bila aku ckp mcm tu, obviously something must be REALLy, REALLy wrong, right?

I guess most of us pun dah receive and read the email send by CEO.
Semua dah tau apa salah silap.
Apa yang betul n tak betul.
Apa yang patut kita improve and all.
And I would like to stress some of it AGAIn it here...

1. Team formation and positioning.
Ok yang ni, paling basic in any team sports, be it futsal, hockey, rugby etc.
We MUST know our formation, our positioning.
Kalau tak, sure kelam kabut n haru biru kan?
Bukan nak ckp apa, aku rasa team kita tak tau sapa main kat position mana.
Kekadang satu match tu, semua-semua nak main as a striker. Where's the defender?
Ask ourself that question!
Skrg ni, dalam futsal, positioning and formation in a team, is VERY VERy essential and important. Without it, hancur satu team.

2. Playing as a team - not as individual
Yang ni mmg selalu terjadi kat team aku, me included. Semua org ada skill masing-masing. Ye aku paham yang tu.
Tapi, nak buat skill ke apa ke, kene tgk tempat gak.
I'm not pointing any fingers here, tapi sebagai contoh la ok.
Kalau dah rasa diri tu tak bleh nak dribble defenders, or run around the opposition team, why do that?
Main simple pass to our teammate.
SIMPLE pass means - short, easy passes.
BUkan pass from one end of the field to another.
Seperti coach Mus cakap, kita suka main pass bola dgn cara yang susah.
If you guys don't believe it, next time record video cara kita main.
Baru semua tau.

3. Friendly matches - not leisure matches just to bersenam-senam badan kita.
BUkan nak kutuk atau apa, but this is a fact.
AKu bukan ckp kita kena main serious gile babi, main as if ur life depended on it.
No.
Skrg ni, kita main friendly, to test how we have improve.
To test our skills, our passing, our play AS A TEAM.
Tak rasa rugi ke, pegi jauh-jauh main kat AMpang tu, then main mcm hampeh mcm tu?
Wasting our money n time!

4. Substitution
Ni satu lagi hal - bersangkut paut ngan No. 3.
Kita main friendly, lawan team lain, bukan main saja-saja macam selalu main kat PJ.
Meaning, we have our pride at stake bila lawan team lain.
Mumtaz FC punya pride.
Of course kita nak main betul2, kalu kalau pun takpe at least we put a good performance, kan?
TAPI, skrg ni, even our planning of team players tak betul.
Ini aku rasa sbb miscommunication jgak.
Sbb aku rasa some players just don't understand the importance of matches mcm hari tu.
We can't just main tukar-tukar player mcm tu je.
Bukan bermaksud tak nak bagi org tu main ke, or biar dia main ikut ckp aku or team leader kita.
Skrg ni, since kita aritu dah bwk byk players, we have to know la how to manage the players, supaya SEIMBANG satu team.
Not wanting to name players here, tapi kalau kita buat substitution with 2 players yang tak bleh lari sangat dan derang main in the flanks, how can our team survive?
Macam mana derang can go back and forth to support the attack and defence?
No way they could do that, kan?
That's our problem, mismanagement of players.

Cuba tgk team derang, player2 yang main n masuk, semua seimbang.
Kan?

5. Attitude
Yang ni aku tak tau nak ckp apa sgt.
Sebabnya dah byk kali kita cakap sesama sendiri pasal ni.
In terms of players yang main, or tak main.
Contoh, ada player yang ckp nak dtg main, last minute mendiamkan diri pastu mmg tak dtg terus.
Why?
Is it that HARD to JUST send an SMS to anyone of us informing that you wouldn't be able to come?
Ini bukan terjadi masa aritu je, sebelum2 ni mmg dah byk kali jadi.
Kalau dgn awek bukan main nak SMS-sing, tapi ngan member nak inform pun malas.
Apa cerita?

Satu lagi, kalu let's say la u intend to bring additional players to join, silakan.
Boleh aje.
Tapi plz at least inform la jgak so that we can budget how many players yang dtg.
Sbbnya, kita main friendly, bukan main suka-suka.
Kalau main suka-suka, nvm, seramai mana pun boleh.
TAPI, kalau setiap friendly buat mcm ni, how can we improve or test our team againts opponents?

Dan satu lagi, inform la jgak untuk mengelakkan sesapa terasa hati kalau tak main byk sgt.
Bukan apa, sometimes we've already planned out ur team and strategy, bila ada additional ppl, plan tu jadi tunggang langgang plak to accomodate all d players to play.
Kan?

----------------------------------

Aku rasa better aku stop.
Kalu aku tulis lagi byk, lagi ada org akan terasa hati plak.
I dun want our team to break-up, to dissolve just because of those problems mentioned above.
Just let it be a lesson to be learnt.

Wanna let u guys know, our Capitan Nazri - akan buat formation and strategy for our team.
Dia akn buat listing of players and the position serta tugas2 yg patut buat masa kat padang tu.
From there we can see, how we can improve if we use the method being planned by Nazri.

Remember, sharing is CARING.
I shared those issues above sbb aku dan rakan-rakan lain nak tgk how we can improve, as a team and also as an individual as well.

And a small note, this Saturday, we will have yet another friendly, sama ada dgn team Shah atau CIMB.
Time n venue will be confirmed, but most probably akan main kat Futsal Sports Centre
.
See u there! (and plz inform in advance if u can't make it, or u r bringing additional players, TQ)

Lastyly, a timely reminder to all....

Mumtazians, wake UP and SMELL the COFFEE.

We
WiLL RISE again!
YEahhhhh!!!
